💡 I can’t insert knowledge into your head—learning requires your active participation. Take a moment to read, explore, and practice. That’s the best way to truly understand how it works.

EVENTS
Creating Events:
Use the built-in Wix Events tool to create and manage all event types. You can add ticket types (free or paid), limit quantities, and set date/time.
Events stay in "Drafts" until you hit "Publish" — this makes it easy to prepare the content, get approvals, and schedule your launch.
For Bouldering League X #1, remember to add a season pass ticket.
For Bouldering League X #2-3, you must add a free ticket for season pass holders.
Editing an Event:
Go to Dashboard > Events > select your event
Change title, date/time, ticket price, description, and visibility
Customize the checkout form per event: collect names, sizes, questions, etc.
Create an automated email response when someone books.

WIX will guide you through the process and make recommendations on what you should work before publishing, as you see here.
You can for example customize the check out form, whelping you to collect valuable information about our guests.
Later you can always go back to the form by clicking "settings".

Set a ticket sales period if needed (e.g. early bird windows)
Wix Ticket Fee:
Wix adds a small ticketing fee to the buyer (this goes to Wix, not BLX)
You can choose to include or hide this in the displayed price

Under Settings you can set if you want people to receive reminder emails and customize the automated ticket confirmation mail.

Viewing Participants:
-
Go to Dashboard > Events > Published Events
-
Click on the event > Go to the "Guests" tab ("Gäster")
-
There you can see the full list of participants, check-ins, and export guest lists
-
You can export the guest list as CSV
EVENT PAGE
👉 You always need to adjust this page based on what’s currently being promoted – so that the “link in bio” on Instagram makes sense and leads people to the right info.
Here’s how it works:
-
Ticketed events update automatically when you publish them at the beginning of the page.
-
I’ve built the page using sections with grids.
-
You can hide, delete, or duplicate these sections depending on what you need.
-
The layout alternates image left / image right – you can flip the grid to keep that pattern consistent. Right click >Flip Grid> Columns
-
Make sure you always link the button to the correct event, product, or service page.
-
Don’t forget to check and update the Swedish version too, including translated text and images if needed!

To get to the button you will have to click several times because first you go into the section, then into the grid, then into the button. Same with texts.
CONTENT & TRANSLATIONS
To update regular text or titles:
1. Open the Wix Studio Editor.
2. Use the language switcher (top bar) to switch between Swedish and English.
3. Edit the content just like normal text—make sure to update both versions.
4. Double-check repeaters: edits only apply to the language version you’re currently in.
To update text in a repeater (e.g. events, camps, offers):
1. Double-click inside the repeater item (not the entire repeater).
2. Edit the text directly in the layout connected to the CMS.
💡 Tip: Always check both Swedish and English versions when editing content.
What to Keep in Mind:
• Some elements (like repeater buttons or hidden strips) may only appear in one language—make sure both versions are complete.
• Check mobile view in both languages!
• Never delete content from one language without checking if it exists in the other too.
Products, Courses, and Events – Translation Panel Required
Some content—especially products, courses, and events—has to be translated in a separate panel, not in the editor:
1. Go to the Dashboard.
2. Navigate to:
-
Store → Products
-
Bookings → Services
-
Events → Event Manager
3. Click the item you want to translate.
4. In the item editor, open the “Translations” tab (in the top or side panel).
5. Add or update the translation for each language field (title, description, buttons, etc.).
6. Save.
⚠️ If you only update the English version, the Swedish visitor will still see outdated text.
💡 Pro Tips
-
Newly created products/events do not get translated automatically—you must manually add a translation before publishing.
-
Buttons like “Book Now”, “Buy”, or “View Details” can show the wrong language if not set up properly in the translations tab.

Navigate to Website Content > Multilingual > Edit Translations

You can use the filters in the item list to quickly find what you need:
-
Filter by category, type, or language.
-
Use the flags “Needs update” or “Not translated” to find incomplete entries fast.

GALLERIES
You can easily update or add to the gallery by duplicating sections and replacing the content.
To Add a New Gallery Section:
1. Go to the Gallery page in the Wix Editor.
2. Right-click an existing section and choose “Duplicate”.
3. Update the headline to fit your new gallery (e.g. “Summer Camp 2025”).
4. Click on the gallery itself to open the image settings.
5. Choose “Manage Media” to add, remove, or reorder images.
6. Replace the default images with your own uploads or pictures in the photo folders.
To Update an Existing Gallery:
1. Click on the gallery component you want to update.
2. Select “Manage Media”.
3. Add or remove images as needed.
💡 Don’t forget to click “Publish” after making changes—otherwise, they won’t appear on the live site. And always check the Swedish page as well.

AUTOMATIONS
What are automations? Automations let you send emails or perform actions based on a trigger, like form submissions or product purchases.
Where to find:
-
Go to Dashboard > Automations
-
You can create new or duplicate/edit existing ones
-
Choose the trigger (e.g. store purchase, form filled out) and what action should follow
Examples of what you can automate:
-
📩 Send a confirmation email when someone books a service, event, or course.
-
⏰ Set a reminder email a day before a booked session.
-
📦 Email a follow-up or extra info (e.g. crash pad rental policy) after someone buys a product.
-
🧾 Send a specific email when someone purchases from a certain category (e.g. Adult Courses, Climbing Academy).
-
🧠 You can also delay the email by a set time (e.g. send 3 days before or 2 hours after).
Internal automations:
Many of the existing automations are set to notify us as a team:
-
When someone books a class or course
-
When someone submits a form
-
When a product is purchased
This helps us stay updated and not miss anything important.
Tip: Find shortcuts to access email automations in the link list.
See all automations here.

Here you can see how the automated email is set up for bookings of the BLX Kids Party.
The trigger is set to “When a session is booked.”
The action is to send an email to the person who made the booking.

When you choose the action “Send an email,” the side panel opens, allowing you to make adjustments.
Click “Edit” to open the full email editor, where you can customize both the design and the content.

LINKLIST
This list gives you direct access to manage events, courses, camps, rentals, and automations connected to the BLX website. Each row contains shortcuts to edit content, view orders, or customize automations. Use this as your go-to dashboard to quickly navigate and update what matters most.
Use the buttons below to add new items, update existing links, or remove outdated entries. The CMS collection is the source of truth—make sure the information stays accurate and up to date.
Whenever people interact - whether they book a course, buy a product, fill out a form - they receive an automated email.
Here you can find them.
Do not change these emails into anything specific to a course. If you want to send out an automated email in regards to a special product or group you can create a separated automation.
